#ThankATeacher In Franklin Township During National Teacher Appreciation Week

National Teachers Appreciation Week 2019

Teacher Appreciation Week

National Teacher Appreciation Week takes place during the first full week of May each year, for 2019 that’s May 5-11th.

Since 1984, the National PTA has designated one week in May as a special time to honor the men and women who lend their passion and skills to educating our children.

PTA events at the national, state and local levels celebrate the outstanding contributions teachers make.

Teachers around the country tackle the tough task of educating millions of kids every day, and they often don’t get the appreciation or recognition they deserve.

But not during National Teacher Appreciation Week – or Teacher Appreciation Day for that matter!

That’s right, Teacher Appreciation Day falls on Tuesday of the first full week in May, another chance to show some love to our teachers.

The responsibility our teachers bear every day when they walk in the office cannot be overstated. Teachers change lives, they educate and inspire our kids to start them on a lifetime of learning.

The work of our teachers extends beyond the walls of the physical classroom, they actually help construct the foundation of education and discovery that our kids build upon through life toward what all parents envision,  long-term success and happiness.

Let’s show our thanks and gratitude to these stellar educators.

Partner with us during PTA Teacher Appreciation Week to #ThankATeacher for all that they do to help our children reach for the stars.

How Can You Participate In Teacher Appreciation Week?

You can do your part by thanking a teacher in your life, and by using the #ThankATeacher hashtag on social media.

To help us thank the teachers in our lives for helping our children shoot for the moon, the PTA has created certificates, flyers, thank-you cards, web ads, and social media graphics!

Remind everyone about Teacher Appreciation week by using their flyers! There’s even a fillable version so you can add your own text with event info or other details.
